He has been mainly engaged in the diagnosis, treatment and scientific research of thoracic surgery diseases, such as esophageal cancer, lung cancer and mediastinal tumor. He is especially professional at thoracoscopic minimally invasive surgery, including combined thoracoscopic and laparoscopic esophagectomy, thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery and mediastinal tumor resection, etc. He has published more than 10 papers in domestic core journals and 5 SCI papers. He undertook some national and provincial projects and won the second prize and the third prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Awards of Shandong University. He is the member of tumor nutrition and support treatment branch of  Committee of Thoracic Surgery of Chinese anti-cancer association, the member of Thoracic Surgery branch of Shandong Medical Doctor Association, the member of breast tumor branch of Shandong anticancer association, the member of ERAS Committee of Shandong Association of Pain Management, the member of Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee of Shandong Association of Pain Management, etc.
