Kexin Wang is the director of the wardⅠof general surgery in the Eastern District of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. He mainly focuses on the research of basic and surgical clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal malignant tumor and metabolic diseases. He has carried out laparoscopic spleen-preserving splenic hilar lymph node dissection, laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer preserving the left colon artery, and laparoscopic enlarged right colectomy. So far, he has hosted three National Natural Science Foundations of China, two provincial-level projects and two school-level projects.
He focuses on the combination of basic research and clinical research, and carries out basic and clinical related issues of colorectal malignant tumors. At the same time, he is focused on surgery of metabolic diseases that takes the intestine-liver-brain axis as the entry point, which has enriched and expanded the mechanism of surgical treatment of diabetes , that achieves great research results.
