Doctor Yan served as the Deputy Director of the Shandong Andrology Association Youth Branch, the member of Shandong Urology Association Youth Branch, and the branch of minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Yan works as a surgeon, a clinical teacher, and a clinical researcher as well. He is specialized in the diagnosis and management of urological and andrological oncology, prostate disease, urinary stones, etc. Meanwhile, he offers personalized treatment regimes to individual patients. His research work is funded by national and provincial funds. He has published more than ten articles on urological oncology, and obtained one National Invention Patent.
